Denmark - day two!

Another day, another trip! We got up quite early today (8am is early if you ask me!) and had a huge breakfast! There was pretty much everything you could wish for - pancakes, fruits, cheese, croassiants! After getting stuffed we took the train to Copenhagen, it´s only a 45min trip away from Helsingör.
We took a quick look at the opera from the bus - it was the last station and the bus turned there - before we got off at Christiania.
Christiania, also known as Freetown Christiania, is a "self-proclaimed autonomous neighbourhood" of about 850 residents, covering 34 hectares in Copenhagen. It is known for being a sanctuary for people with alternative lifestyles. I was there once when I was little and I enjoyed visiting it again. The whole neighbourhood is much looser - people and houses were in a "hippie style" - colorful, handmade, simple and a bit rough in the edges. Also, they sold weed openly, wich I found pretty cool (I´m not against weed, I´ll take that another day because that´s a longer story).

After our litte stroll we took another bus into the pedestrian streets - aka. shopping zones! They have soooo many shops and there were sales in the most of them! I bought a pair of really cool high heels in black patent after some shilly-shallying~

We were exhausted after many hours of walking around and both of us collapsed on our hotel-beds! After resting for a couple of hours we dolled ourselfs up and went down to play in the casino. But we didn´t expect them to be so damn strict with identification and I wasn´t allowed to go in. Wich made me quite pissed.

The hotel´s resturant´s selection was also a disappointmend so we tokk the car to look for another place. We ended up in a lovley italian restaurant in the city! Mom and I shared three starters and got soooo stuffed on them - everything was delicious!

Tomorrow is our last day in Denmark - I´m looking forward to it!
Goodnight folks!
