The secret passages of our school
Some may only have heard rumors about the tunnels beneath our school that reaches all the way to the train station and the big park, which is several kilometers. Our school is over 100 years old and the tunnels were built in case we'd get in war, but it never happened so now they are abandoned. Some of them have collapsed, others are still intact but are dark, dusty and maybe not completely empty.
These tunnels are behind locked doors, but if you're lucky and in your senior year, you may get the chance to get a guided tour there by one of our janitors. Our class was allowed to bring ten people down there and to the attic, and I managed to snatch one of the spots!
Unfortunately, my class decided to go earlier and not tell me (...), so I went the first part of the attic alone with a janitor. It was really big! And surprisingly clean, no old artifacts cluttering the big, dim spaces. When we found my classmates, I went up to the highest point in our school; inside a big clock. It was a bit scary to go up all those steep, small stairs, but it was worth it. I have no photos of it, but you could see the entire city from there!
One of the tunnels. You can't really see it on picture, but we had to walk hunched, almost crawling on our knees and hands to be able to get through. The janitors said that they'd pranked a group of teens one year, but it had ended up in total chaos so they decided to never-ever do it again.

The guide continued through the attic and then down, down, down to the basement. That wasn't that interesting, but then we reached the beginning of the murky tunnels - that was interesting! It begun with a few steps down in dim light....
...then everything was pitch black. A dozen people down in a room with no windows or lights, only sand as floor, and countless tunnels and holes to get lost in......sounds like a good horror movie, huh?

So, a bit different post today! I'm glad I got the chance to actually see all this, I've only heard countless rumors about them.
Also, did you know our school is haunted? Some say when the school is empty during summer, you can hear footsteps in the stone staircases, but no one is there when you try to find them.
