I'm going to Vienna!
Next big trip- Vienna, Austria!
My mom and I have decided to try travelling to a big city every year, just the two of us. We have been to a lot of Swedish cities, big and small - Lysekil to Stockholm, Paris, Budapest, Malta, Transylvania/Romania and many more. I'm very fond of this "tradition" and hope to be able to keep it up for many more years, even after I've moved out from my nest here in Mullsjö.We have very similar interests when it comes to vagabonding - cultural exploration usually comes in the first place, although I'm getting a bit tired of churches by now... But museums, historical monuments, castles and restaurants with traditional food are always welcomed from both sides. I'm also very interested in thrift shops and vintage boutiques, that's where I find the most fun things for my wardrobe, so I've looked up Vienna's range and I'm more than happy - there are a lot! Thrift shops, high quality vintage shops and even second-hand stores for high-fashion brands like Chanel and Alexander McQueen - wonderful! Not that I'll ever be able to afford an McQueen gown, but I can always dream, right?
I haven't found much about the museums and historical monuments, but my search doesn't stop on the internet! When I travelled to Budapest in April I mostly used books as my guides, so I'll drop by the library someday to see what they have.
